Being a family team fills us with pride as we collaborate to bring beauty and inspiration to the world. Our team possesses a wide range of skills that contribute to both our glass studio and homestead.
Despite her demanding job as a surgical heart nurse, our matriarch Chiquita always manages to make time to support her family. With a background in stained glass, she has been a key advocate for Wildfire Pro Glass and has played a vital role in Brook's initial forays into glassworking. Brook's early exposure to arts and engineering led him to explore the technical aspects of kilnforming and glass casting. Intrigued by the art of hot glass, Wildfire was born.
In 2002, Brook introduced Kristan to the world of glass, where she learned to incorporate her textiles and jewelry into glass buttons and beads. As our family continued to expand, we felt the importance of maintaining a connection to art and nature. Our commitment to being responsible stewards of the Earth inspired our venture into homesteading and regenerative farming. We found more like minded people in the Pacific Northwest and have been blessed to call it home for over 12 years. Even our youngest member has now embraced a more sustainable approach, creating reusable glass straws and developing our upcycled glass gifts.
Through glass art and homesteading, we find freedom and harmony. By drawing on our family's knowledge and experience passed down through generations, we are establishing a lasting legacy.
